1832-03-30On this day, 30th March 1832, James Holman (known as the blind traveller) departed Sydney on the Strathfieldsaye and sailed for England via New Zealand.[1] Our research has not discovered if he crossed paths with Allan Cunningham but it would be no surprise if Allan Cunningham had read of James Holman’s adventures.
